We attempt to relate the events following our being welcomed back into the GPFL in 2016, joining the Pinellas County Green Party. This document tries to untangle how we were re-admitted, and how Rose was elected to the GPFL State Coordinating Council, then booted off at the behest of Jennifer Sullivan. It details how the GPFL Executive Board (composed of the state officers) tried to take into its own hands the powers usually exercised by the GPFL Coordinating Committee (a representative body)
Victor Agosto May 30 proposal

The Agosto proposal, and a few of its descendants, tried to circumvent the decision made by the GPFL Annual Memembership Meeting (AMM) to reconsider lifting the ban on Rose and myself, with a process to last no longer than September 30. Agosto kept trying to change the rules, and change the voting periods, so as to make it impossible for the broader party membership to read and discussion the documentation prepared by ourselves and others, for and against us.

Rose discusses the vicious and libelous campaign and against Rose and me, charging us with being infiltrators, deliberate saboteurs, and agents of other unspecified forces. She goes on to elaborate on how such charges do not only do material harm to those so accused, but also on the destructive effect such frivolous charges have on the broader progressive political environment.

The article that Rose and I were purged for. Rose and I had been physically threatened by Jeremy Griffin of the GPFL’s Tampa local. The Coordinating Council refused to take any action whatsoever, with a common sentiment being that we deserved it because we had sometimes been sarcastic.

You will note that, even in the aggregate, They are at best trivial (okay, Rose once told Josh Pritchett to “fuck off!”) relative to a lifetime purge from the GPFL. More serious are the legally libelous attacks on us as some kind of infiltrators (never specified), which we know to be the centerpiece of a whispering campaign spread with malice and intent to do harm. This will not be allowed to continue.
