\"vultures\"First they quote a Democratic stalwart:<\/p>\n

\u201cOrin Kramer, a New York hedge-fund manager who has raised campaign funds for both President Barack Obama and Mrs. Clinton \u2026 I would hope people would understand what a Trump presidency would mean and act accordingly\u2014and \u2018accordingly\u2019 means quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n

They quote Sanders strategist Tad Devine:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat will happen hopefully when the voting is done, our two campaigns will begin to talk once more to one another and figure out where the common ground is.\u201d<\/p>\n

They counterpose Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver:<\/p>\n

\u201cSen. Sanders is the best chance that Democrats have to beat Trump,\u201d Mr. Weaver said. \u201cThe trajectory is the same regardless of the outcome in California.\u201d<\/p>\n

There you have it, there\u2019s the big split.<\/p>\n

A little thin, you say.\u00a0 Right.\u00a0 So the Journal does a little piling on with a gaggle of Hillary endorsers:<\/p>\n

They wrap up with William Daley, a former Obama White House chief of staff:<\/p>\n

\u201c[T]he \u201cdamage\u201d Mr. Sanders could do is \u201coverwhelming if he doesn\u2019t give [Mrs. Clinton] the breather she needs in the run-up to the convention to take on Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"nobody\"So apart from getting out the word for this round of primaries, we need to be letting Bernie know very directly that we have his back.\u00a0 I don\u2019t need to repeat the litany of principled issues that separate our campaign from the DNC machine.\u00a0 Just take a minute to let the campaign know that we\u2019re in it for the long haul.\u00a0 Call them.\u00a0 e-mail them.\u00a0 Facebook them.\u00a0 Let Bernie know that this is why we fight today!\u00a0 This is why we fight through the Philadelphia Convention!\u00a0 This is why we fight through November!\u00a0 This is why we fight until we win!<\/p>\n
