So what brings you to my parlor without your sidekick?<\/p>\n

(She examines the drink)<\/em>\u00a0 <\/span>Then don\u2019t move.\u00a0 (pause)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 You mind if I ask you something personal?\u00a0 (Vic gestures with his hands and nods)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 You ever want revenge?<\/p>\n

What?<\/p>\n

Monica<\/h4>\n

(louder and louder)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 To be able to walk into an office and rip off people\u2019s arms and legs with your bare hands and stomp on them and burn them and make them roast screaming in hell for ever and ever?<\/p>\n

Vic<\/h4>\n

(very calmly)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 Well \u2026<\/p>\n

Monica<\/h4>\n

(louder)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 And watch them beg for mercy as you, as you \u2026 as you \u2026 (collapses on the desk sobbing)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Vic<\/h4>\n

My skinny-assed friend, have you had a bad day?<\/p>\n

Monica<\/h4>\n

(looks up, somewhat back in control)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I\u2019ve had a very bad day.\u00a0 Yesterday morning I had a career and a future.\u00a0 I was a good girl taking a little fling on the wild side, and today I\u2019m thrown out of school, I hang out with losers and my family considers me a disgrace and if that\u2019s not bad enough I\u2019ve got some pervert knocking on my window every damn night and I\u2019m scared silly of being murdered in my bed.\u00a0 Yes, I\u2019ve had a bad day.<\/p>\n

Vic<\/h4>\n

I see, but slow down a minute.\u00a0 What happened?\u00a0 You\u2019re thrown out of school?<\/p>\n

Monica<\/h4>\n

The fucking documentary project is off!\u00a0 In fact, my whole college education is off!\u00a0 My whole damn future is off.\u00a0 I got kicked out of school.\u00a0 For trying to make this goddamn documentary.\u00a0 \u201cMisappropriation of funds,\u201d they called it.\u00a0 Vic, it\u2019s over, and I want to make the SOB\u2019s pay!\u00a0 I was one of them, dammit, I was going to expose you as \u2026<\/p>\n

Vic<\/h4>\n

In other words, it\u2019s too filthy for a documentary, but nobody gets fucked or shot or blown up so no normal people would want to watch it.\u00a0 Does that sum it up?<\/p>\n

Monica<\/h4>\n
